The event will take place at Planet FPV, set against the natural beauty of Quebec with camping opportunities, and great company.
Planet FPV is the perfect place for all kind of event. With 15 acres of wonderful land for drone, Monster truck (RC) and boat (RC).
Food and drink on site, Electricity for charging and more.
Bring your tent for the best weekend you can have and fly with us even on the Sunday (included).

The Road To Canadian Drone Nationals 2017
Presented by FPV Canada, the Qualifiers will bring the best drone racers from across the nation. Based on the points the pilots accumulate over the 2017 season, the top 32 pilots will compete head to head at the Canadian Drone National Finals in our nation’s capital, Ottawa on October 13th and 14th.
The Canadian Drone Nationals Qualifiers is open to ALL Canadians and the Rules and Regulations are governed by the CFDR to ensure fair and consistent competitions.
Quad/Multirotor Technical Specifications
- 6 inch (152 millimeter) diameter maximum propeller size
- Maximum frame size 280 millimeter motor to motor, no minimum size
- 4S maximum LiPo battery, maximum 4.2 volts per cell (No High Voltage / HV
battery packs) - 250mw max vtx output on 5.8ghz
- 40 channel VTX with Raceband required
- Quad total weight (AUW) must be lower than 800g
- 2 Right hand and 2 left hand antennas

About the CFDR
The Canadian Federation for Drone Racing (CFDR) is an officially recognized governing body, safety influence and national voice for organized multi-rotor, commercial and recreational FPV activities in Canada. The CFDR provides the official rules, safety standards, education and certification for multi-rotor racing, recreational and commercial activities, in addition to enforcing the regulations as set forth by Transport Canada. The CFDR fully supports the education, development and promotion of multi-rotor FPV racing as a recognized sport, commercial and recreational activity.
